Watch this video. The guy does something, but i can't figure out what he does or did. And if he actually causes the explosion. Reading the comments people say things like "I knew that was going to happen when he put his hand there."

I have no idea what he could have touched to cause this. Maybe an electrical short?

Something on the hotside let loose and sent shards everywhere. My guess would be the wastegate.

Same thing happened to my buddy's 9 second DSM.

 

Makes sense, I bet he needs the Nitrous just to spool that damn thing, lol...

 

^ After reviewing it once more, the explosion comes from the hotside, not from the plenum like I originally thought.
