Was that pos boosted? If so, I am ashamed. It took him like 6 minutes to get to 100.

Yeah, and the vid sucked, sorry.

Wrong. 333 at the crank for a e46. The video is of a e36 (240 at the crank)....and i'm not sure the e36 in the video is even an M3.

Actually e36m3's make about ~200 to the wheels so 294 @7psi is not bad at all...Im guessing it an AA stage 1 kit

Nice video but what kind of dyno was this on? That number seems a little low at 7lbs of boost.

~94whp @7 psi isn't too bad, im 99% sure its an Active Autowerke kit, there stage 1 kits use pretty small turbos, They also do there dyno's on a mustang dyno so there numbers are typical lower....The guy that is gonna do the software for my m3 said he usually sees 300whp @8psi so 294@ 7psi is pretty good, you gotta remember, while alot of these honda's are making 300whp easily, m3 @8psi are making 300wtq too BTW i decided to wait on turbo'ing my m3 untill next year so i can build it for 15-18psi

That's what I was thinking. I would love to see an M3 pushing 15lbs!

Interior looked like an e46 to me. My mistake. e46 m3 + turbo kit = imaginary. That's why I got confused.

there actually is a couple e46 330 turbos out there...As for the e46m3...that engine doesn't need FI to blow, it can do it on its own

240 chp stock. has 70mm throttle body, exhaust, some $16,000 turbo install (from what they're telling me - i don't ****** know man - this kid's dad has serious money) This is not on the dyno. this is down a highway with 4 people in the car. that's all the footage i had a chance to get. I simply went for a ride, couldn't believe it ran like that, and got out. The owner (18 year old kid) said the cost for turbo kit and install could have bought the car over again. I posted this video so everyone could believe it themselves. 294whp dyno tuned - however they tuned it. It's ecu was chipped before, so it may have received a new one accordingly.

and for you ******** who want to whine because people post vids you don't like - DON'T ****** DOWNLOAD THEM. It's a hell of a lot better than people arguing about what they saw or heard. I can back up everything I have done or seen with footage, as I hate speculators and bullshitters. That's what I had a chance to film. What did you want to see, anyways? A flyby or something? WTF? That made it clear how unimpressive the car ran. I think it got the point across. I filmed the engine bay if no one thinks it was FI - i'll post it tomorrow.

That does seem kinda low. My M3 dynoed 225whp with just an intake and computer reprogram.

obd 1 or obd 2?? 225 is about right for those mods on a 3.2 liter, i don't think 294 is low for what the kit consists of, these 10k dollar kits use a cast log manifold and a small internally wastegated mitsu turbo Granted AA builds soem of the sickest cars in the bmw world, there work really doesn't impress me untill you start spending 20k+. They charge a ridicoulous amount for the R&D that goes into their kits but i guess they can since they are one of the few people that tune the stock ecu with boost Tec 3 just developed a plug and play kit for m3's for a reasonable price that i plan on using on my m3...Should be able to put together a kit comparable to AA's stage 2+ for ~$5000-$6000

I have to agree. those AA kits are a fuggin rip off. I was pretty close to selling my car and jumping into an E36 turbo. I had it all planned out, was gonna be able to buy everything from my honda hook ups and fabricate the rest, the only stuff I would have to buy would be the manifold and computer program. The computer/tuning is where they get u on those cars though. Anwways, I came to the conclusion doing it like that i could spend a 1/3 of what the AA guys charge and have a better kit. go figure, i still have the teg.

haha i do agree, i bought my 95 m3 and was trying to sell my del sol at the time, i couldn't sell the sol so i ended up gettign back into it again, a swap and turbo later here i am...I still love my m3, e36m3's have always been my favorite car i just can't stand the bmw scene, anytime some guy on bimmerforums gets beat in a race with a honda his response is either: My cars made for the twisty's or well who cares its still a honda then why the **** did they bother racing???? I can't stand the majority of bmw owners (except myself and a few others ) there heads are too far up AA's *** to actually get out and try **** on there own imagine what the honda FI scene would be like if no one ever pieced together a custom turbo kit, attempted a junkyard setup or made there own manifold AA has a monopoly over everyone and i can't wait for the day when i build a kit for ~ $5k with tec 3

not all bmw guys are asses, after a fun run with an e36 m5 today the guy was cool. he rolled down his window and looked surprised. I had my music up to loud and caouldn't hear what he said but we exchanged thumbs up. the video was alright, looks pretty quick but top speed kinda slows down. maybe cause he's "4 deep"
