axle boot broken?

Default axle boot broken?

i bought this motor with i guess a broken axle boot.. how do i remove this?

stick a screwdriver or pry bar in between the tranny and the axel and it should pop out

x4, same way you would if it had the rest of the axle attached, they prolly did it so the oil wouldn't leak out and to keep the tranny sealed so know dirt/dust would get in there

if you're installing the motor yourself and you have to ask this question, please stop and get a professional to do the work for you.

screw driver will work just becareful not to expletive up the seal usally i use the fork prybar
