pulling axle from midshaft, searched for 20 minutes
does anyone know how to pull axle from the midshaft? I've been trying for the past hour and a half with no luck.

you need a fat azz flat head heavy duty screw driver... pop it between the axel and half shaft and that should do the trick...

i use a hammer and a prybar. line up the prybar on the inner joint. then hit it really hard and the axle will "walk" out. h.t.h.

Get a large socket, 32mm or something larger. Put it into where the Axel connects to the halfshaft, and hit it with a hammer.
It should seperate the two, my friend found this here on HT last year. DOnt know the exact thread but it worked like a charm. 5 wacks and we were done.

pops out almost the same way as the passenger side does... get a pry bar inbetween the end of the axle and where it connects to the intermidiate shaft an pry it out... it will pop right out
