HI, i just recently bought a 2000 civic hatchback but its making some weird noise. When I'm sitting at the light, it makes this "air leakage" noise from my engine bay. ( kinda like " shiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"). But when i press my clutch, the sound goes away. Is this soemthing to do with my clutch ?

Car has 141k, drives perfectly fine.

Pop your hood and start listening for leaks. I might be nothing since hondas have a vacuum like idling sound to them.

 

yeah I did, everything seems to be working fine w/o a leak. I guess my engine is just too old ?
