I want to black house my headlights, but i dunno if the lights need to be cut open or baked open. Can someone please let me know or direct me to a DIY.

Thanks

preheat your oven to 250, turn off the oven, and let them sit for 4-5 minutes. after that, gently pry the lense off with a flathead screwdriver. i have found that butyl window sealer works great to seal back up. to properly seal, lay a bead of the window seal around the plastic where there will still be some original adhesive. warm this up for a minute or 2 in the oven (again off, but preheated to about 250). put the lense on and get it pretty close to in place. put back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes and then push the lense on the rest of the way. Then, wrap the lense in newspaper or something and wrap that tightly with tape until cool. I found that hockey sock tape works real well for this because it stretches, so you get a real tight fit. hope this helps. lemme know if you have any more questions or if something doesnt make sense

Is this method will work on any kind of head light? Well Thank you for your suggestion.
I will go and try it by myself.
