Left headlights on, drained battery, WONT START!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP
I am so frustrated. I left my headlights on for about 4 hours on my 1994 Accord EX. Went out and tried to jump it, everything powered up great but when I tried to turn the key to start the starter, nothing! Not even trying to crank. After 3 more times trying to jump it I declared the battery as shot since it wasn't the greatest since I just bought the car a month ago.
Went and got a new battery put it in, still the same thing. Checked every fuse mostly the one called "starter signal" they were fine. Why was my car running fine before i left the lights on and it will no longer even try to crank? It could be a bad starter but I highly doubt it since it was fine. 112,000 miles.
Also the anti-theft light on my steering column was blinking now. That never blinked before. The one on the radio did but not the one on the steering column. What does that mean?
advice please thanks
