Changed cap & rotor.... distributor now makes loud ticking noise?
It's freezing outside and I just finished it up and when I started it up, the first thing I noticed was a loud ticking sound..... probably the rotor, but why? I had it on pretty tight... dizzy never had this problem before.. when I did first take it apart, the original rotor was on very loose and there was black "debris" all inside of the cap... any help is appreciated..

could be the wrong rotor also........had a similar problem with a car I bought only when i took the cap off I saw that whoever had the car before me used tape instead of a screw to put the rotor on
one of the funniest things i ever seen
