Default Honda Civic Value PAckage Gauge Cluster

Hello Everyone,

this is my first post and I have a question and hope someone can help.

The gauges on the civic dx and Value package are different than the LX/EX. DOes anybody know if the aftermarket gauges for the LX/EX will work on the dx? If not where can I find aftermarket gauge cluster for the Value Package Edition. I really would appreciate any help if possible.

you can use the stock gauge cluster from an lx.

i have an 04 vp and was using the cluster from an 03 lx that had a tach and i didn't need to rewire anything.

if you get the ex model, you will have to re-wire your clip. there's a diagram on here you have to search for it.

i'm actually selling my cluster if your interested...

Default 2004 Honda Civic Value Package Gauge CLuster

Hello Everyone

I own a honda civic lx and wanted to get some better looking gagues. Everyone tells me if I get ex/lx gauges for model year 03-05 I would have to re-wire however there is a post on this forum that says if I use lx 03-05 LX gauges I dont have to rewire. Can someone pelase help me on this as I am bidding on some gauges in ebay. If rewiring is needed is there a diagram and is it pretty simple? do you know if after market shops now how to rewire or who would know? Last question is it eady to remove the gague cluster. Thank you for all your help ahead of time.

the EX gauge of 03-05 is what we call the Optitron gauge like this.

If you install it in LX you need to rewire the connectors.
