wiring diagram needed
hard to explain but.. i found a thread and the pics were gone but the pics were suposed to show how to wire this anti theft thing.
its where u have to do something random in order to start the car.. like turn on the headlights or left blinker or your ac button, just any thing.
how do u wire that up??? i didnt know how to search for that.
did that post even make sense?

you mean a stealth switch?
its easier if your using a un-used switch.... that way you don't have to use a relay to make the switch behave differently when the car isn't running, and behave normally when it is..
i think you wire the relay's coil to be controlled by ignition.. the wire the common to the switch, and the others to what ever they control.. another relay that acts as the kill and the switch's normal function..
or something like that...

im not a wiring guru lol
if i have a diagram i can do it but i cant figure it out on my own. i dont wanna post up what im hacking into but lets just say the radio has to be on in order to start the car.
so im guessing hack into the 12v from the radio then where? to a relay then to the fuel pump wire?

yeah that would work
just remember to turn off your radio, and take the faceplate with you.
the momentary input would come from the remote turn on..
and you can have it interrupt the fuel pump, main relay ground, ecu ground, etc..
just hide the wiring, and make it look like it was always there.

Exactly!
"You can substitute the switch with a number of others devices such as the amp turn on wire of your head unit. Be sure to isolate it with at least a 1 amp diode. Turn the key to the run position. Allow the head unit to come on or turn it on. Now start the vehicle. If you connected to the power antenna wire, make sure the tuner is on. If you have a pullout or detachable face head unit, your vehicle will not start without it."

Nope, not going to work.
The radio is accessory powered. Notice that it's turned off when you're cranking the motor.
So you'll have to change the radio's accessory power to a true ignition. You'll have to run a wire to the black/yellow 10 gauge wire on the fusebox or the ignition harness.

Bro maybe you missed it but thats the point of 2 relays. Look over the diagram I posted again and re-think it. The power lead (acc controlled) wire throws the relay as you turn the key but before you hit the starter. Once that circuit is complete the ignition wire now holds the relay open as long as the ign is powered. The diode is there so the ign power does not go back into the HU's power lead.

Yep, it will, once latched the relay will stay latched
