Do you dismiss Megasquirt because it can also function as a boost controler? Because it can run Coil-over-plug? Because it costs under $700 with every bell and whistle, including pre-assembled w/SMD components?

For what you want, you could probably do it for $400-500 at the most. As long as you find a tuner that can actually tune (not just use his basemap for a specific ems & tune AFR's), it will be a breeze.

Also if this is for a 96+ Accord, your options for a complete standalone won't be cheap if its not MS.

which model is this?

if your considering the megasquirt, then id consider going with a 30-1050 (or 1040 even) box, gettin the plug and pin kit and making it work with ur app, thats definately a viable option, but keep in mind since its a custom setup the support for a setup like that is minimal since it was designed as a plug and play setup.

Ya, it's not high on my list either but it does work fine and I thought it was cheaper so I mentioned it.
