I just wanted to express my jubilance that my speedometer works now. I replaced that small printed circuit board on the back of the speedometer, and it has worked perfectly ever since. I learned to do that on this forum.

I've since frozen my old circuit board in a block of ice... other inflictions await it. It was the bane of my existence, so punishment must come.

 

that was my problem along with quite a few other people, i discovered that fix awhile back glad it was a simple fix for you too

 

Did you buy a used one on Ebay? I just did and plan on doing what you've done. How long did it take you to take your dash board apart?

 

Ebay or junk yard is best bet.

Takes me about 5 minutes to take the dash apart now - probably 15 or so on the first time.

Any tips you want to offer? I'm afraid I may break something on the front panel and my wife would kill me. TIA.
