My build thread. ( Not Honda )
Alright, my name is Travis, I'm 20, and this is gonna be my " restore " thread. I know it's not a Honda, as I am an avid fan, I know the're fans who enjoy a v8, but mine's a bit older.
What I have is a 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100. The motor is a 350, with th350 transmission. My father has owned it since he was in highschool, so, along time ago, now it's my toy.
Plans are right now, B&M ratchet, different headers, disc brakes in the front ( currently a 6 bolt front, 5 bolt rear ), different gearing, and a new 4 core radiator.
Hater's can simply click back if they don't wanna see this classic
Alright, let's get started. First, you're going to need some safety glasses for what I'm doing, so, grab a pair of your grandma's 30 year old glasses, which make you see double

Next, let's put some music on. Nothing beats my old man's collection of LP's. 192kb/s ain't got **** on my record player

Just a quick tour of the truck, in all it's glory

Rota's ain't got nothing on these badboys !

Money shot

Mad 70's interior LOL. You can see part of the fox tail hanging from the mirror. And it's got a push button start from factory

Now, it's time to venture inside. Here's my sweet $40 set of parts I bought today. 3/8 air hose, air gun, magnetic tray, couplers, and not pictured is a new pressure gauge for my compressor

Alright, those glasses are worn for a reason. I'm basically trying to polish/buff remove the old paint/rust off this GM 4 barrel intake

Slowly looking better

Well, I decided to give it a rest tonight, as I'm sick and tired, so I decided to put an old Holley carb on for a test fit.
No idea what model this is, no tags, just says Holley and "482"

Anyways, I'll add more as I go along.

Apon further thought, I know I'm going to have to have the intake soaked in acid, and the carb rebuilt, so I'm just going to sell the Holley, buy an Edelbrock 650 w/elec. choke, and get a Professional Products intake. I have a good dealer who sells products for below costs
