ok so i bought a plug and play sidemarker harness from jdm_jedi on honda-tech,and even when i wired up my sidemarkers with the pwd JDM harness i had this problem.


my blinkers work when my headlights are off in both my city lights,and sidemarkers.

when i turn my headlights on my side markers light up very dimly, like they are receiving feedback, and then my blinkers dont work


NOTE-my sidemarkers are wired up to work with the blinker only.

WHAT IS CAUSING THEM NOT TO WORK WHEN MY HEADLIGHTS ARE ON!! thanks.

are your side corner lights working? maybe a fuse went???

 

yeah everything works fine when my headlights are off, and when i turn my headlights on,everything turns on correctly.except that my sidemarkers shouldnt be lit all the time,and when i turn my headlights on,they light up dim like they are receiving feedback or something

 

sounds like you have tapped into the power for the side corner lights instead of the signal that would give you the blinker only.

i'm not sure what the wire looks like :/

ok well, i just tried plugging back in the stock harness, makes it as if i never had sidemarkers,and the blinkers still dont work. i just tried replacing fuses and nothing.im stumped

 

there's a signal wire for your lights (i.e. brake switch activates brake lights)
you need to tap the side marker wires into the signal wires for the corner lights

that will only send the signal of your turn signals to the markers, and not just constant power
