now i know the ebay turbo manifolds are crap.. but ive been seeing a few that have a cast design and i just wanted to get your guy's input.. my friend has the exact same turbo thats on this picture on his car that has a dohc zc.. but im planning on putting this setup on a b16..
is there anything that looks wrong with getting the cast manifold.. and what is the performance/safety/lag difference between using a cast manifold and a tubular manifold?
im not really looking to make anymore then 320-340whp.. basically im gonna use a sir b16 motor with a cometic and arp's and have a safe boosted motor
heres the linkage

1. You get what you pay for... almost always.
2. There isn't even a brand on that, personally, I wouldn't buy it.

Just hunt aroung for quality used stuff. You can get Drag or other brand name cast manifolds for about $100. I am doing the same as you but only shooting for around 250whp or so also on a B16 SiRII with a budget of under $1000. Just to give you an example of what you can do if you really search, here is what I have gathered so far:
Garrett t3/t4 turbo $210
Turbonetics w/g, drag manifold, dumptube, drainline $250
Precision 440cc injectors $100
New bar/plate fmic w/aluminum piping from Ebay $210
So I just need an oil feed, bov, and guages and I'm only $760 into the kit with all brand name stuff.

In other words, always pay top dollar for everything, it's a guarantee you get the best quality available.
Spending less doesn't mean buying crap, it just means being patient and knowing what to look for, or in some cases you build your setup around whatever quality parts are available to you at good prices.
There are SOME parts that aren't very complicated and are difficult to screw up...like piping. and even intercooler. Guys around here want $250 for a used set of i.c. pipes from a brand name kit, I paid $100 for new 2.5" custom bent for Civic. It's all aluminum pipes, what makes the name brand better? I'd love to have someone point out in what way the generic bar/plate i.c. I got is so inferior to a Spearco or other expensive name brand that I should have spent 4X more money for one of those.
