Default is this a good ebay manifold?

i know better than to buy an ebay turbo manifold, but i found this one and wanted to know if i was going to be running over my turbo anytime soon? it is an OBX and its around four hundred bucks so its not one of those 89 dollar chrome plated turbo manifolds or anything. let me know what ya think.

also what about this intake manifold? anybody have one? it says CHROME PLATED IN REALLY BIG LETTERS so i dont know

for $400, you could get a much better manifold than that in the FI classifieds

Don't judge it by the outside...wait til you buy it and look inside...that's the money shot .

Check my sig...I'll sell you a mani for that price that's quality, has a warranty for life, and has a fully ported collector. Just because something "works" doesn't mean you should buy it. Some people get away with running them for a while, some people have complete failure in a week. It's a roll of the dice, so why gamble? I'd rather put something on my car I know is likely never going to fail, versus something that is KNOWN to fail.

It's all in what you want to put into your car. OBX and SSAC know better than to sell their junk on sites like these, so they go to ebay where they hit the inexperienced guys and take advantage of them. Take advice from those who know man.

if u think ur buying crap to begin with and had to come on here to ask if it was safe to buy it why buy obx get ssac and save $250 for that same style manifold.. IF it does crack then u got $250 left over to re-weld it stronger..

I'm not so sure i'd follow that. Personally i hate dealing with problems and will avoid them at all costs. If you're going to turbo your car, you should understand that is DOES cost money...plan accordingly. Even if you are on a budget, there are manifolds out there to fit your needs.

Like THIS for example
