what have you guys done to f22's to check timing?

what have you guys done to f22's to check timing?
more specifically, the f22b2 that i picked up recently has no timing window, i.e. the notch in the block to look in at your flywheel. any ideas? it's late and i'm tired so uhh forgive me if i'm pulling a
