Recently I have noticed my car has been consuming what I think to be an abnormally large amount of oil. I changed the oil myself in July and made sure I put in 4 quarts. Dipstick registered perfect and that was that.

Fast forward about a month and a half ago and I did a valve adjustment. I did it myself but am certain I did it right, followed "proper steps and clearances". I had a Honda technician listen to the motor and he said it sounded fine.

In early October I checked all fluid levels and noticed no oil was registering on the dipstick. Now I was thinking WTF? No oil leaks to be seen, motor runs awesome, no smoke out the exhaust.

What is an acceptable amount of oil loss in between oil changes? Certainly not a whole quart right? I am confused and worried about my B18C1.
