*** Dash Question ... Where does this plug go?!?!
I took my dash out the other day...and uhh I cant seem to find where to plug in one of the 4 plugs in the pics below...The first pic gives you an idea of where they go, 3 of the 4 were just pluged into the fuse box... I cant find where the long(hanging down the farthest) grey one goes to, please help!!!
Edit: This dash is not from a gsr, and the car that its going into is...Could this plug not be used for the gsr's??
Also I traced that plug to a plug that goes to the cluster(see pics below)...where does this plug go to the fuse panel at??

Close up of the 4 plugs, I need to know where the long grey one goes (the one with the longest wires)

OK I traced that plug to a plug that goes to the cluster I put a red circle around the one it goes to( kinda hard to see the red but its there)

Put it in your car, and you should be able to see it.
I'm not sure where it goes, but it has to be close to the fuse box

Does it reach to the steering column?
Is it for cruise control?
There is something that plugs into the seperate dash peice by your knees.
Do you have a repair book for it?
It will tell you step by step removal. I take a picture of my car tonight for you if you don't figure it out.

all the plugs on the dash up there are pluged in (sunroof, dim, cruise control)... there is a little grey plug and a little green one that goes by your knees I think, but still nowhere for this plug...I tried my best to follow the wires and they might go to one of the plugs on the back of the cluster(not sure tho)

You do not need to touch the cluster to get the dash out.
I do believe that there's four plugs into the fuse panel. I remeber taking that grey one towards the passanger side. That's why I'm gonna go with steering wheel.

Is it by any chance the plug that plugs into the button to turn the maintenance required light off on the panel under the steering wheel?? It's been a while since I had my dash out but that's one more thing to check...

i think it might be for the cluster. I kno some years have 3 plugs for the cluster while some have 4. maybe yours only has 3 and the teg that the dash came out of had 4 for the cluster.

Im going to get the harness apart and follow the wires up to see exactly where they go...If they do go to the cluster, and like K2sInteg98 said some have 4 for the cluster but if mine only has 3, what do you do about that...Has anyone had this happen??
thanks

None of these. They are too far away.
I looked under my dash and found four plugs into the fuse panel. There is one in the same area as yours, and it hooked into the steering column.
