k i just bought a d15b vtec complet swap for mi 95 civic which is a dx. the swap came w the motor automatic transmission and a p08 ecu cause i was lookin for an easy swap since mi car was already a automatic. so do i need to use the jdm wiring harrness that came w it or put mi dx d15 non vtec wiring harrness on cuase i did change the harrness to mi stock dx wiring harrness and now the distributor is not firing is it mi distributor or the harrness. ive tried everything i could thing of to make it work by changin the cap and rotar wires and then the plugs but still it wont fire so what do i need to do?? please hellpppp

 

use your old harness, the one that comes with the motor is usualy chopped anyway, you just have to wire vtec and stuff manually, is there a cel?

 

a what?? k i got the new harrness on but im not gettin fire to mi spark plugs ive change the cap and put new wires and new plugs but still im not gettin nothin so what should i do??

 

Yes...Use your old harness. Try another dizzy. When I bough a motor my dizzy went bad within' 2 weeks.

 

ok what is the dizzy?? the inner coil rite?? so how would i change this and would the one out of mi d15b7 distributor work for it?? and what ecu should i use the stock p06 or the p08 that cam w the swap??

The dizzy is the thing your spark plugs go too it has a black cap on it.. If you dont have right dizzy it wont start. Check firing order! Also you need P28 if you want vtec or you can have your ecu chipped when you wire up vtec.

 

i can use the p08 ecu cause its the one for that motor neways but i got a new ? im not gittin fire to mi farthest cylinder from the distributor and im gettin spark and ive cleand the injector do u think that the fuel rail could of got stopd up or what im out of ideas to get it to fire so please help
