Default For those unaware, the Type R power steering pump is smaller?

Posted in the for sale Form For those unaware, the Type R power steering pump is smaller, and has a smaller parastic horsepower loss then all other B Series power steering pumps.?

Anyone heard this before? I've searched?

According to http://www.sonsacuraparts.com/sons/jsp/home.jsp

the part #'s are the same for ls/gsr/type r......56110-p72-003

so, I would assume they are all the same....

Yes, they're the same, including the pulleys.

I contacted the seller about the error. Perhaps he was genuinely mistaken about it, and not trying to intentionally mislead anyone.

Haha, my arms might break off if my PS goes... which it might be... My old del Sol was okay without PS... but it was also smaller.

Btw, not trying to thread-jack, but how do you know if the PS is dieing - before it actually dies (I searched and this thread came up)?

I have to bring this up from the dead to try to get some wrong information corrected, maybe?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cmdr430 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">According to http://www.sonsacuraparts.com/sons/jsp/home.jsp

This is right, but for 94-97 Integra's LS/TypeR/GSR parts #'s were 56110-p72-004

56110-p72-003 would be the 98 + power steering pumps.

https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

this thread says that integra pumps have the same fittings for the p/s line 94-01???

Im wanting to clear this up, but my question is what Power Steering brackets, lower and upper and power steering pump would you use with ITR or CTR swap into EG chassis?
Im thinking GSR/LS upper brackets WOULDN'T work for PR3(CTR, ITR) heads. Because P75, P72 heads are different castings. Let me know

I'm willing to bet most in here have not completed ths swap. The answer could easily be found in the civic forum. I'm sure you are aware that in other parts of the world EG civics came equipped with a B16, etc. The B16/ITR heads are the same casting, so find someone who has completed a B16 swap in an EG. Hybrid Forum.

I have done the swap a many times, but in non power steering cars. And mostly in EF's. The swap is as simple as putting a D series in IMO. But, the power steering thing can get confusing if you thing you are gonna fit ls or gsr brackets on a b16 head or obd2 pumps on obd2 cars. But ill check hybrid out. thanks
