Default B18b1 + 2000 EJ8. Which power steering pump?

Motor is from a 1998 DC4 LS. The power steering pump will not accept the fitting on the EJ8 PSP line. Can I use only an EM1 power steering pump?

Up close pic of the hard fitting, shown with the D-series pump attached to close the hydraulic loop, but only has one bolt in it and is NOT running.

Stupid question I'm sure, just couldn't answer it with 30 minutes of searching. let me know what ya know.

For the amount of on-street parking and city driving this car does, it's one luxury I'm willing to pay for.

That was helpful.

He has already "lost" the P/s and obviously feels it's important enough to keep after driving it w/o P/S, don't you think?

It's like my 92 CX doesn't have a stereo head unit, speakers, a/c, p/s, door panels, carpet, etc. - I might not find it necessary for me in that car, but I'm not trying to tell everyone to "lose" this stuff from their own cars.

Since this got bumped, I'll just update it with a little more info. If you're running a non-VTEC head, you have the option to use the CRV power steering pump bracket and the stock EK pump.

Currently $49.09 @ Majestic new, cheaper than the used EM1 pumps I've found. Now if i could just find a used bracket, I'd really be saving some money.
