Does anyone know of the top of their head if the stock cat on a 98 gsr has two 02 sensors? I cant remember if there is one on both ends of it.

obd2=2 o2's Yes you have 2 o2 sensors.

 

alright thanks, cause i was gonna get a high flow cat put on at this exhaust shop and they were wantin to charge $284. They said somethin bout havin to order a part because i had 2 O2 sensors.

Do you mean does the actual cat have two o2 sensors in it? No.

Does your obdII car have two o2 sensors? Yes. One in the exhaust manifold, one in the cat.

 

ahh ok...well i guess thats why it was so much more expensive then. So i guess he wouldnt have to special order a part then. Oh and is the stock cat 2.5" on my car?

 

Not sure stock diameter but I wouldn't think it would be that large. maybe 1 7/8ths or 2". He probably charges extra because he has to weld a bung on the aftermarket cat.
