help! done it all, no vtec.. d15 to d16z6 swap, whats left???
alright, i got a 93 del sol s. came with d15 and auto. i had a d16z6 siting around, so i swapped. also a 5spd swap. it was all pretty easy...except vtec. i gave up and put 1000 miles or so w/t no vtec. I WAnt IT BACK!!ppl told me my car was wired 4 vtec already so i simpley swaped ecu and used the z6 engine harness(from sturt back its the org. harness) I have got code 21, bad silinoid..changed it.. nothing. code 1 o2 sensor, i dont think it affects vtec. or does it?and code 43,air/fuel, the o2 sensor mabey causes that?? i think i need the harness from sturt back to ecu 4 a z6 p28, so if ya got one 4 sale or any ideas, plz let me know....thanks

I think vtec doesn't work if the ecu isn't getting a signal from the vehicle speed sensor. Look into that possibility also.
