B16 right? If so which one like obd1-2 or what. Or is there even a differance?

different years of the motor kinda.....like if you wanted to use a dizzy from a obd1 b16 ona obd2 b16...it wouldnt work the dizzys are different, ecus, wireing harness and stuff like that it possible to use them, you just have to swap out some things

 

i think that head is from a 00 si.

 

pr3-X is just the casting code for a b series head. the number in the X spot has nothing to do for year. i have a pr3-2 on my 92 jdm b16. the only b series that had a different head was the ITR motors and those were a p72 head.

so to anwser your question, the head was used from 88-00. so without a date code, its impossible for us to tell you what it came off of.

 

ITR motors didnt have p72 heads.
p72 is GSR.
ITR heads are casted same as the b16 head.. PR3..

to tell if it's a b16 or itr head, on the back of where the distributor mounts, there should be a green marking

and you can also tell waht year it is by looking at the top of exhaust runner #4, farthest left numbers

that is a 92 eg6 b16a head for sure
