Default Speed Sensor wire hookup in 02 Accord

I just got a a new Eclipse AVN2210p unit and the installer at Circuit City did not want to install the speed sensor wire because he claimed that he would have to mess with the vehicle's computer system. Long story short, where is the vehicle speed sensor located, and how hard would it be to install a lead to my my head unit? Is there one close to the head unit?

The head unit has a GPS attached to it and it's supposed to use the speed sensor in order to obtain more accurate speeds and to approximate the distance traveled in tunnels.

Ahhh very nice.

The VSS should be located up on top of the tranny with 3 wires (i believe) coming from it. I have no idea what wires you would need to tap or what all else would be required (resistors, etc) to get it to work.

The kit only includes one wire so I'm assuming that I only need just one. Is there one closer to the head unit's location?

at least on a 4 cyl , it's pin C23 on the ECU. Blue with a white stripe, 0 - 5v pulse. should look like a square wave on a scope if you have one available.
