LOL
anyways.... ive said it once and ill say it again it will depend on the driver, driving style, load pu ton motor etc... with all my turbo set ups there have been times where ui got better MPG then stock... a real good adn dialed in tune is always a +

I did try some research, I don't ever just post without doing any
But back to topic and like you said depending on the driver, for this let's assume everyday normal driving without the variable of reving it up just becuase( like a new exhaust hurts gas mileage becuase you like to listen to your vtec sing)

well on a really good tune a turbo motor with a bigger sized turbo will yeild better MPG then a smaller turbo set up... like a EVO with a GT35 would get better MPG on the street because its staying out of boost and tuned lean on the part T.. but with the smaller turbo its seeing boost fast and pissin fuel in

examples are.. my SOHC on a stock motor got about 380 to a tank..... did a lil small turbo set up at 16psi and was still getting 320-340 out of the tank...
my DC on teh stock LS motor got about 340 out of her to a tank.. after bumping it up to a 85mm and slapping a 62-1 turbonetics snail i could still get about 280-300 out of her...
but that was me getting on it often....

Well that's because you're "Revin' at 9k all day
" LOL. I don't need to rev it up to be faster than 90% of the cars out there. hahaha. But I do hit boost pretty early.

nah that kinda sucks...
im getting in the 280 range for 11 gallons...
ohhh by the way went for 2 rides in boosted S's this weekend... a guys 320 whp vortech supercharger was really fun and fast... then i went into a kids 495 whp custom turboed beast and it actually scared me... started in 4th gear at like 40 and just took off... although it was really fast id prolly pick up the supercharger just cause its more practical for my driving needs... ohh and his cars rips up ferraris which is a nice side note...
to the OP who cares... if your boosted your only interested in one thing... going fast... if gas mileage is your major concern i suggest you stick to bolt ons or just keep it stock
