Default 92-95 civic climate control dim, not all lit up

i'm pretty sure this happens to alot of 5th gen (92-95) drivers out there because i had this happen in all three of my 5th gens i've had. The problem is my Climate Control unit is dim or when pressing certain buttons the lights turn on or off. I was thinking this may be a loose ground or something. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure what it was so i can fix it while the CC is out.

Thanks.

EDIT:: oh yeah i tried searching.. but only found one that led to no where... maybe i am wording it wrong.

i had the same problem..but happened was that the bulbs were a bit too big so had to force them in there..you should take you CC out again, and try pushing them in as hard as you can, that was the only to to make mines work..also before you put you cc make sure to plug in the cc to see if they work first then put it in..just a thought hope it works for you.

Yes sir... since my radio is gone (jacked over 2 years ago) I think I may just purchase new bulbs and replace them. Maybe take a look at the wiring and make sure everything is secure.

My other problem with lights is that my dome light and trunk dome light dont work even after new bulbs... my car is a PITA.

mine don't either! do you think its because of the after market radio? there was this one time that my dome light came on out of no where... that was the only time though.
