tranny gurus. is the b16 countershaft same as gsr countershaft?
need to know. i know it each countershaft has the same amount of teeth. and both spin freely when used vice versa with their ring gears. but are they in fact the same countershaft? thanks in advance.
for stuff like this i usually go to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org and find the part. Then i take that part number and compare it to the part on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and see if they match.

I know they are interchangeable. I would be shocked to find out they didn't share the same part numbers.
I asked this question a while back and didnt get much either, I do know they can be swapped as long as the matching FD is used, you cant use the GSR FD on the B16 Countershaft and vice versa.
