I checked for play in the ball joints and I got nothing. I have also read that it may be because my tire needs balanced. I want to know what the problem is before i take it to honda because to me it sounds like my wheel bearings. The sound is only coming from the driver rear wheel at speeds above 25mph. Hopefully someone has had the same issue and you can tell me what I need to do to fix it!
what kind of noise? its probably not a bearing, i bet if you look at the CV boots on whatever side the problem is on there will be a ripped one and sling all over the wheel or tranny housing. if not, unbalanced wheel, MAYBE bad wheel bearing, loose tie rod end those can all make your wheel shake.

It is the rear wheel, so it can not be the CV boot. I also check for play in the wheel by jacking up the car and pulling the tire from side to side but there was no play. So the only two thing it can be is unbalanced or the wheel bearings.
If it wear the wheel bearings would'nt it sound that way all the time?

being an aftermarket wheel, Id have the two rears rebalanced. wouldnt hurt anyway. A wheel bearing can make itself known at one speed first, then get worse. Could be either. BUT, seeing how your car shakes as well, its most likely an unbalance, or one of the cords in your tires shifted.

No need for anymore sarcasm.
