My car burns white smoke sometimes when I start the car up in the morning. However, when the car is at normal idling temperatures, it does not blow any smoke. Is this bad? Any information on this issue?
Also, I blow black smoke in small amounts when I shift really high or rev high. My car is tuned with I/H/E/High-Flo Cat; this may be a result of the mods but I am not sure. The motor was purchased about 10,000 miles ago from N1 Concepts in California (whom I hear has a good reputation). I don't know exactly how many miles are on the motor, but I was told it was around 50 or 60k. Isn't this a little early for having smoke problems?

it is condensation that builds up in your exhaust. Its normal.

 

.... chill dude. its normal. just like 92hondalude said, its just condensation build up in your evaporating causing white smoke. now if its greyish bluish or black smoke. now there's something worry to about. but dont trip chocolate chip. its just water

Yeah, it's just condensation like they said. They smoke at high rev sounds as if it is running a little rich, take it back to the tuner and check your A/F and timing, you might even be able to lean it out some and get a few extra ponies...


Seriously....There was no need to tell him to chill out was there, he asked a simple question and it was like OMG MY CAR IS SMOKING WHITE WHEN I CRANK IT UP... Why be like this, maybe you should read the thread about being an *** to other members
