Default White Smoke! HELP!!

My 2000 ITR (w/ JDM B18C) burns white smoke sometimes when I start the car up in the morning. However, when the car is at normal idling temperatures, it does not blow any smoke. Is this bad? Any information on this issue?

Also, I blow black smoke in small amounts when I shift really high or rev high. My car is tuned with I/H/E/High-Flo Cat; this may be a result of the mods but I am not sure. The motor was purchased about 10,000 miles ago from N1 Concepts in California (whom I hear has a good reputation). I don't know exactly how many miles are on the motor, but I was told it was around 50 or 60k. Isn't this a little early for having smoke problems?

Thank you for any help!

Shouldn't be no big deal if it's just a little bit during start up, but white smoke = water.

What about the black smoke when I shift at high revs?

Big or small puff, unless it's completely just howling out like "WTFUX" then it's normal...

The white smoke sounds like condensation and the black smoke at high rev's may be fuel. Nothing really to be worried about unless its real constant.

Valve guide seals could also be a concern.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it was a large amount then there might be something to talk about, but pretty much all of our R's do this.
