6.5, but double check the depth, the depth of the 6.5" is what usually limits you.

yeah, change the connectors on the end. honda has some pecial ones on there. i just cut the wire, stripped it, and found some connector things laying around.

also be careful when you remove the door panel, i believe there is 2 screws in the door handle and one in the door opener thing.

i remember there being something else to, like the stock speakers are only held in by 3 instead of 4 screws. not sure though...might of been my bimmer.

check the depth of the speakers if you want a direct drop in speaker...otherwise you will have to cut the bracket.

max depth
68 mm (2.68") on the top and 79 mm (3.11") on the bottom

6.5 is the right side, but you need to make baffles/spacers. Cutting the factory basket is ghetto.

it may be ghetto but it works. Most aftermarket speakers are going to be too deep for the basket, so cutting them is cheap and effective...

no you can just splice your new speakers with your existing speaker wire... its really an easy install... will take you 20 mins max on each door... PM me if you need more help

you don't even have to do that... i just removed the oem plastic connector housing from the wiring and inside are connectors that fit most aftermarket speaker prongs. the only thing i did was dab a little drop of solder on one of the replacement speaker prongs cause it's slightly narrower... i could have just crimped it on a little tighter with pliers or something though. i did it this way so if i ever wanted to put the stockers back in, i could just put the little plastic plugs back on and voila.
