Malfunction Indicator Light
My malfunction light keeps comin on...took it to the dealer they said my CAI is causing my fuel air mixture to run too rich..and I am on my own...any ideas on what I can do?? ...and does ne 1 kn0w anything abt the readiness codes??
when you installed did you disconnect the battery?
let it idle for 10 minutes or so after reconnecting?
if you only have CAI this is probably your issue

yea the battery was disconnected and I only have CAI..so I guess I'll try that and see what happens..the dealer reset some kind of readiness codes and that took the light off but they won't do it again..do you know anything abt that??
Seen this many times. For whatever reason the intake causes a rich/lean condition. Wont be covered under any warranty and dont expect them to diag. it again with the intake CAI on.
Rediness codes are set by running test to certain items under certain criteria IE. catalyst, egr etc. If a function doesnt pass a test, it will not set to "complete".
