Default car throwing itself out of reverse

every time i put it in reverse and get on the throttle at all it kicks itself out of reverse.... 2002rsx-s

ideas?...

throwout beraing? but only does it in reverse so i thought maybe......
something with the shifter needs adjusting?.....
ideas?...

Sounds like a linkage problem. What mods do you have related to the linkage/tranny? Short throw?

no mods at all to the car...

i was thinking the throw out bearing because when the car is in reverse there is a different kinda torque on the engine ...

yeah it also could be the sincros i dont know how to spell them but i had that problem before with my other car and its the sincros

really? thats odd... i thought there was... thats nice to know... so then if there are no sincros and there is no adjustment for the linakge then its gotta be the throwout bearing... and if thats the case might as well put a new clutch kit in then... right?

Correct! Reverse is not synchronized.

I dont think its the throwout bearing if its only happening in reverse...

and it goes into gears well 1-6


so is there an adjustment for the linkage? i haven't taken it aprat, haven't had time... i was thinking that if its cable inside the car then maybe the one cable is to tight and not allowing the flex when the TORQuey reverse is being used

i encounter this problem on my em2, ill put it in reverse but it doesnt engage and i will have to throw it hard into reverse for it to engage, no problem like this with my ep3
