hi my Si is not starting at all at first i thought it was the computer i changed it same probelm, then removed the distributor cap to see if rotor is spining and it is. I dont know what the probelm is and i cant get to work or school help asap thanks

 

is it dead or does it seem to want to start up?

 

WANTS TO START BUT NO SPARK distributor TO SPARK PLUG WIRES ( DRIVING ME CRAZY MAN)

 

start with the basic steps.
check for fuel pressure
then check for spark

 

FUEL WOULDN'T MATTER IF THERE NO SPARK FROM distributor, AND I HOW DO I CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE

 

probably a bad coil or igniter. try swapping the distributor with another one.

 

damm, no cheap way out

 

re time the timming belt!

 

MORE THAN LIKELY YOU ARE LOOKING AT MOST COMENLY KNOWN AS THE IGNITOR OR COIL. THOS ARE CHEAP. ALSO IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A EASY WAY OUT CHECK SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES TO SEE IF ONE IS FOULED

 

Could have a bad crank sensor.
