Default crak in a can baby

iv been working on my ek four weeks and it just wont go. i had to replace my head due to over heating i replaced the water pump and timeing belt the head is from 98 ek vtec. it just wont turn on i got gas and the timeing is on the dot my spark is their but iv been told it might not be enough or could it be that my cam pull is from my 2000 head

Need more info man.

It cranks like it's going to turn on....you have spark, you have fuel, you (assuming) have air, and you just replaced your timing belt and water pump and the head? Am I getting all that?

It's really hard to E-fix a car. It could be 1 out of 9054982651987 things.


Do you have everything plugged in/correctly? Electronic issues are the BIGGEST percentage of no start of shitty running conditions after work is performed. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly.

Do you have the MAP and TPS plugs switched around? Do you have the CTS and VTEC plugs switched around? Those connectors are the same ...and they will plug into each other. Get a wiring diagram. Make sure correct wire colors are leading into correct sensors.

Maybe try taking it somewhere.

check ALL THE WIRES/CONNECTORS you messed around with...

any CEL?

check the timing also...
