i recently built an lsvtec b16/b18 w/p28chip. when im on third gear and floor the pedal around 5000rpm itll start to bogg. then around 7500rpm it seems like the fuel cuts off and ill get a cel 16 for fuel injectors. then when i press the pedal again it just boggs and then the rpm just reaches to 4000. please help!

 

Need to know more about your set up.

What ECU are you running?

Is VTEC engaging?

 

im running p28 chip ecu and my vtec hits around 4500rpm.

 

kay i fix'd the bogging on high rpm by changing my fuel filter and now i can go up to 9500. but now i got a new problem instead of bogging on high rpm, im bogging at low rpm when the engine is cold. i have to let the temp go up to the middle of the gauge and everything works great and fine. checkd my dizzy plenty of times and timing is at TDC with the RED marking.

 

i kinda had the same problem...
u might want to chk the condition of ur dizzy...
those were the tell-tale signs of a dizzy bout to go bad...
unfortunately for me...
i waitd it out too long and it crappd on me

 

ya, it mite be the dizzy, cuhz i only changed out the ignition module and not the whole dizzy. i hope this would fix my problem. thanks for your info...
