Default oil pump
Is there a differance in an ls,gsr,type r oil pump. I have a b18b1 and wonder if there really is a differanced in flow or is it the way the motor is that limits the flow no matter what oil pump you use.

i believe ls pumps less, gsr is more, type r is most. for vtec of course.

gsr and type r oil pumps are the same and ls is different because of the vtec like ek said

actually all pumps are the same.
ls pumps used to be ''weaker'' but that was before '96

yeah i believe that obd2 vtec oil pumps were all equal, not 100%

yea that is true all the obd2 are the same i was thinkin about obd1...in which case the gsrs are stronger for vtec....sorry
