gsr head in b16a2
A GSR head on a B16? Ive never ran across this one in my time, but Id imagine that its physically possible, but in order to make it work right Id imagine that there would have to be some kind of inside work done on the block...
Just swap your cams for some type r cams.

none, instead of head swap do the short block instead to get more displacement and torque, put some higher compretion piston and yiou got a sick *** motor. Doing the short block swap with a b18c1 would lower your compression a little.
so id be better off just getting type r cams instead of wastin time and money gettin a gsr head and gettin no gains ima just get type r cams build the head abd then just boost

To dispel all rumors, with a GSR head, your compression would go up .2 of a point. Obviously higher C/R means more power, however it would most likely be negligible. There are more points, but I'm betting you just want to know how to make more power.
As for the block, if you swapped one with yours, make sure to use the GSR headbolts, and you would have what's commonly referred to as a Poorman's R.
That should answer your question, you should use the search feature for anything more specific.
