max rpm = where you stopping making power
1. get it tuned
2. get it on a dyno
3. get some spelling and sentence structure lessons

Exactly. Who cares how high it can rev, chances are your going to stop making power before then, especially with a stock head. You need to get it tunned on a dyno and that will tell you your "redline" or more specificly where to shift at.

then rev it to 10,000 for all i care, it's not my motor
it can rev as high as you want it to, albeit probably not very safe

If you already know what you plan to do, why start a thread asking people a pointless question? Since you can apparently build another one anyway, why dont you go rev the **** out of it and let us know when it lets go.
Thanks

Yeah this is locked but I'll still post. Good luck revving that high with valve float by using the throttle. You can do it if you try: redline third at 8200 RPM and then downshift to second and release the clutch. Your answer regarding the rev limit will quickly follow when the pistons meet your exhaust valves.
