PROBLEM with coilover install. I searched....HELP
I recently purchased a new set of omni power full coil overs. I have the front installed but when it came time for the back I ran into trouble. I tried taking the bolt off on the bottom of the shock and it SNAPPED. At first I didn't think it was going to be a big deal because I thought I could take the shock off along with the rear lower control arm. I was planning on replacing the stock RLCA's anyways that same day with new ones. But, then I looked closely and noticed the ABS sensor wire trapped. I have everything taken off minus the top nuts holding the shock, but this damn bolt is holding me back. I may try an impact wrench to the nut on the other side, but I was wondering if there was a different route i could go. I also tried taking a saws all to it but i couldn't get a good angle at it.
-Any ideas on how to fix this?
OR
-Does anyone know how to remove the ABS sensor wire attached to the brake?

Click the Search link, type in "broken bolt" and switch the data set to search in Archived Posts. You will get TONS of hits, many of them relating to the rear LCA's. Many, many people have this problem and it's been covered many, many times.
Luckily I've never had that problem so I have no personal experience.
I think there needs to be a search tutorial for mandatory viewing when n00bs sign up, because many people don't know to search in archived posts.

I thought saying searched was enough, next time i will give you a step by step instructions for what I did. I see you have a lot of important things to do and not a lot of time on your hands. So in the future you can keep you're simplistic bull **** to yourself. If anyone else has anything helpful to tell me please let me know. Nice try Patty.

Dude what the hell is up with your attitude. I tried to help you out by telling you how to get lots of results.
*edit* I just tried the search string "broken bolt" in recent topics, and indeed nothing came up relating to the rear LCA's. But if you switch to Archive topics, LOTS of results come up.

sorry if i responded poorly, but your response sounded as if you were saying I knew nothing just because of my "noob" status. I am not new to this site by any means and understand how to use the search. I only recently took the time to become a member because i had a few questions, and this was one. I searched several times using different topics and found nothing. I guess I will keep searching. Thanks.
Just unplug and remove the wheel speed sensor. I don't see what the issue is.
You'll probably break the sensor bolts too, so be prepared to drill them out.
