problem with caliper?
okay today when i was changing my brakes on passenger side caliper wouldnt bolt up anymore. the drivers side was fine though. when i tried to put back in the caliper bolts on the passenger side they went in crooked and it seems that some how the thread inside the caliper got messed up even though it was fine before i took it off and i didnt do anything to the caliper but push the pistons back in so i could put the new pads on. just when i tried to put it back on the bolt wouldnt go in straight and went go in crooked becaues the threads some how got messed up.
so i had no choice but to force it on and its on there really good but the bolt isbt bolted in right and now my car is telling me i dont have ABS?
car stops fine and smooth though
should i get a new caliper and would this fix the abs light? does autozone do abs troube light checks?

Re: problem with caliper? (way to go franko!)
sounds like you cross threaded the bolt when you tried to put it back on and you might have messed up the abs sensor when pulling everything apart, you dont have to get a new caliper if you have a tap and die set you could easily re thread it

yes you could get the set from sears, autozone lowes, the easiest way is to find the size of the hole and just buy the single tap itll be much cheaper
