is that the lower control arm bolt? same thing happen to me, i took it to a guy and he torched it, hammered it, used vice grips, nothing worked, so he had to cut off the welded nut from the shock and weld a new one on and replace the bushing on the LCA

This is a very common problem! Always pre-prep your bolts by SOAKING them down with a penentrating lube like PB Blaster or WD40. This will sometimes help to remove bolts without breaking them. In your case, Your best bet is to get a hardened drill bit and tap it out. I used a torch and cut the whole damn thing off but i put SPC lower control arms and all new parts back on. If your needing to re-use your oe LCA's, drill and re tap the hole. Good Luck!

What happens with these bolts is that they rust onto the metal inner bushing sleeve and eventually fuse as one. The only thing that works is to cut off the bolt before the bushing and after the bushing and then press a new bushing into the control arm. Use vice grips to remove the remaining bolt.
Be sure to use anti-seize on the new bolts that will be replacing the broken ones. It will stop the bolt from fusing to the bushing.

cut it, use a angled die grinder to cut the head of the bolt off, the bushing is probly gone so get a new one, and also you might want to get a new bushings because the dog bone might be frozen to the bolt.

hat happened to me. i went to my boys shop, had him cut off the remainder of the bolt on the nut side, and then took the lca, lubed it with wd40, and took the other bolt and used it as an extension to hammer it out. worked like a charm. didn't mess up my bushing either. or u can jus have the bushing removed and replaced. it's like 20 bucks at honda plus labor of pressing.
