Default SUPERCHARGER OR TURBO

i just swaped in a fresh dohc zc in my crx. what forced induction should i do? i already have had a turbo gsr hatchback. but being that this is a dohc zc i dont know what to do. help me out

What are your goals? What do you want? IMO turbo is the only way to go.

hands down you will gain more from a turbo. it is simple as that.

if you decide to go blower, try to stay away from the centrifugal setups, as they tend to make peak boost and power at the very top of your rev range. try to stick with a " roots " style supercharger.

depends on how much power u want
if ur happy around 225whp go with the roots type supercharger and u wont even have the heat issues most ppl do cuz the zc doesnt rev all that high
i can definately see that being a fast car
my first motor swap was a zc in my crx n i loved it

For real, it all depends on your goals and budget. I personally would never swap my turbo setup for a supercharger. Here is a thread that may give you a little more factual data as to why...

my goal is around 200-220ish maybe more. and i found a deal on a complete jr supercharger kit has everything i need

You can get a supercharger setup if you like...it all depends on what you want from your car, but as i said earlier, i would go with a turbo setup. That's just my personal preference

it really comes down to prefrence and what YOU like, i prefer turbo's on honda's always have aleays will... never been in a SC honda that impressed me.
