Default JunIII's with stock cam gears?

Any problems? I know that since the jun cams are so big it's not very safe to mess with cam timing more than 1 degree either way. Does that mean that there isn't much power to be made by tuning the cam gears? I was thinking on passing up the adjustable cam gears, cus Im kinda broke, and I have almost everything ready to install into the motor except for cam gears, and the honda to tune everything.

after my first 1/16 mile of fun, my JUN cam gears slipped (my error) after rounding up parts and tearing it back down to replace my 8 bent exhaust valves i put the stockers back on, no problems, but if torqued right, u wont have a problem. i now have the JUN cam gears back on and i would highly recommend using them for more power.

i have no access to a dyno around here. i havent touched my cams, they make great power already and i think with a little intake advance and a little exhaust retard the car will gain more. as far as another honda-techer breaking his cams, it wasnt from adjusting the cam gears. i run a JDM DC SS.

Yeah, i don't have them in yet...

My current setup is b18c1, itr aem cai, jdm dc header, 2.5" custom exhaust, test pipe, apexi n1, skunk2 intake manifold...

i will be adding:

Jun cams and valvetrain
b16 pistons and rings
hondata stage2
im probably gonna split the headgasket

Hopefully I'll get around 190-200whp. Compression will be 11.68:1 with the split headgasket, 11.37:1 without.

Next year, im gonna get another GSR block, and sleeve it, 86mm ross pistons, pauter rods, new ls crank, fresh rebuild...and then im gonna port my gsr head and throw that together.... I'm gonna shoot for 12.7:1 compression, 2068cc motor. If I'm not satisfied with the power gains on the cams with just the b16 pistons, im gonna sell them, get ITR cams, and use 85mm JE pistons 11.0:1 and spray a 150shot...
