Default 1.9V coil voltage fuel pump side of main relay connector.(NOT relay or ig/switch)

my 91 crx dx main relay will chatter then the engine dies.

I have tested the relay, cleaned the contacts, it is fine.

The voltage on the relay connector between pins 1 & 2 is 12v
between pins 5 & 2 it is 1.9v.

I have checked the ig switch and it passes all cont tests.

any advice on what I should check next?

The relay board developes hairline fractures in the solder joints. Just reheat them and apply a little more solder if necessary. Then post back.

I have done that, but it does not matter since the problem is with the voltage from the connector with the relay removed.
I am following the section 11-112 in the factory manual.

Default FIXED (turns over, wont start, good main relay, good ign switch)

it turns out the jumper connector had gotten wet at some point in the past 300k miles. It had corrosion on one side and overheated connections(due to weak connector).
I took the cap off it cleaned the contacts, retensioned the females and all was happy.

this is the connector behind the dash fuse box
it is orange and was taped against the main harness at the factory
pull the cap off and make sure it is clean
it is simply a bar that has lugs to connect multiple circuits to a source/fuse
there are 6 separate bars iirc

this is probably something to check on all obd0 Hondas of high mileage and should be added to the faq
