Would a bad distributor seal cause my car to run poorly?
I was told my distribuitor seal was leaking, I checked it out and they were right.. my car has been driving pretty shitty latley, would this be the cause?
I did one about 10k miles ago, if even. I replaced distrubitor cap and rotor, spark plugs, and a few other things..
It feels like its accelerating poorly, like a lack of power, and the engine seems ti run very loud, espically when its cold out.
have you ran fuel injector cleaner through recently? people recommend sea foam on here. I personally havent used it heard its pretty powerful stuff. I use BG's Intake system cleaner and lucas fuel cleaner, have you changed air filter? fuel filter? As far as running loud on cold days not sure for that make sure you dont have an exhaust leak anywhere for that. how many miles on the engine?
I will try seafoam in my gastank, air filter should be fine, not sure about the fuel filter, ill check it all out tomorrow morning, thanks!

I had a valve adjustment done about 1 year ago, should I do that agin?
I need to do whatever it takes to keep this car running for a few more years, I want to put about 1500 into it in the next few weeks so what should I do?

If you seafoam, go straight to the source!
Put it in the vacuum line that runs from the break booster to the FI.

More symptoms I noticed today...
Rough Idle, Sputtering when accerlerating, running poorly when cold..
I will change out the spark plugs and such, should I just replace the seal or should I do the whole distributor?

Bad distributor seals can infact cause the car to run poorly.
Bad seals can not only allow oil to leak out and cause a mess, but distributors can leak internally also(oil leaks from the engine and enters the dist through the base). I've seen a few cars run poorly because the internals of the distributor were coated in oil.
If its leaking internally, you will need to replace the distributor.

Hmm.. Did you replace them all with OEM parts from Honda?. I can't tell you how many times I've seen cars come in because they're misfiring and such due to crappy aftermarket parts. I find the usual cfappy spark plugs and wire set along with a crappy distributor cap and rotor. Like I've stated before somewhere... It is said that Honda's and Toyota's are very sensitive when it comes to the ignition system. Thus is why they recommend OEM parts. The last time I had a customer in for this, I charged him an arm and a leg because it was a waste of my time.
