OBD0 to OBD1 Distributor Swap, possible?
Does anyone know if an OBD1 Distributor will work in an engine that is OBD0 compliant?
Specificly: A Distributor from a 92 Integra to an 89 Integra.
Is there a specific type of distributor that is OBD1 that will work in the 89 DOHC?

Yeah, I definitely had an OBDII CR-V distributor running with my OBDI converted Integra. I believe one of the sensors has a different number of teeth or something that prevents using an OBDI dizzy with an OBD0 ECU.

Thanks for the info but I feel I didn't provide enough information.
I have a 91 EF Si
It has a D16 89 Integra Motor currently running a OBD0
I have in my possesion but not installed a P28 ECU
I am planning to purchase a OBD0 -> OBD1 conversion harness
My problem currently is that I need a Distributor that will fit the 89 teggy motor but will also work an OBD1 ECU and Harness.
Sorry for not being more clear in my first post.

we just put a B18A (OBD0) distributor on a JDM DOHC ZC motor. only the lower ear doesnt line up to the bolt holes but the other 2 do. all B18's have the same bolt pattern and if im not mistaken the head on the 88-89 D16A's are the same as the JDM ZC heads.
youll have to manually wire the cam postion sensor into the distributor plug of course since its external on those motors. or you can leave it and just rewire the dizzy plug without the cam sensor wires.

You could just get a brand new one that fits perfect for $180 with a limited lifetime warranty

i forgot to mention you also have the replace the cam cap that the dizzy bolts to on the top with one from an B18. the one on the ZC is shorter. the B18 one bolts right in. yes the 93 one will work, and year 90-01 will physically bolt up, the only diff are the OBD levels. anything 92-95 will work for you.
