i planned on getting a jdm front and rear bumper for my car but then found out that a front and rear bumper with a lip is gunna be about a grand! but i found this body kit on the internet for about $ 380 shipped and its not to wild and gay looking so let me know what everyone thinks of it before i go buying it. bisides the bad fitment job and the color i dont think it looks too bad.

that looks like the wings west kit for our cars....VIS makes a replica mugen front bumper so you may want to just get the VIS front replica bumper and then find then rest of the pieces and you'll have a sweet looking car IMO.

Maybe you should be more worried about the poor fitment job, its often because of poor bodykit construction.

Spend the extra money so you don't have to deal with the garbage kit you'll most likely get for $380...

that kinda looks like mine:

I put a ef8 front end on my crx a few years ago before I sold it. I cant see spending the $$$ on one for my race car. I like my wings west kit.

In case you haven't noticed it...

^has a knock off of the EF8 Mugen CRX front bumper modified to fit the USDM Civic front end (note: 90-91 Civic bumper lights are used). The real Mugen bumper for the older CRX front facia has thin side vents as pictured above. The sideskirts/doorcaps and rear appear to be WingsWest (or copy) which happen to be a knock off of the Mugen CRX kit anyway.

^has the CRX front end on it. Notice the corner lights? Also, the way the front bumper rounds out around the lower side vents indicates that it is specifically from the CRX (whether or not it's genuine Wings West or not is questionable, WingsWest has bigger side vents than a genuine Mugen bumper for the older front facia). Also, notice the hood bubbles up like an SiR hood yet it doesn't have the SiR lights? Something to consider doing (or not) when you commit to this particular look.

^this one here appears to have the WingsWest front bumper meant for the 88-91 Civic Hatchback (as well as the rest of the complete kit). Notice how the lower vents actually stick out a little bit? That's specific to the WingsWest Civic bumper, the CRX one is rounded with the bumper.

If you really require others approval before you buy something like this, you'll never be satisfied because "you can't make everyone happy." Build it for you, and you'll never go wrong.
